I would definitely recommend this title to someone who is interested in a non-partisan view of the benefits of trade to the macroeconomy as well as the dangers of using phrases like “our nation’s competitiveness” or “global competition” while discussing the topic. My only complaint is that he repeats himself a lot in this book, but as it’s a collection of essays, each written to stand on its own, I suppose that’s expected.
